It’s amazing how a round block of Tulip wood can be turned into a clock as lovely as this, even if I do say so myself!
At 10 inches in diameter, this clock would be perfect in virtually any room in the house. I has a quartz movement with teardrop hands and red sweeping second hand. Around the sweep of the minute hand, there is a feature ring highlighting the face and around the centre are 6 concentric rings. On the reverse side, there are four holes to enable the new owner to hang the clock any way up they choose with the grain vertical or horizontal.
Finished with a chamfered edge and scorching with a blow torch, oiled and polished, the cream colour of the wood and large and the natural wide stripe of green across the centre look brilliant.
