See below for how to book.

Description

The workshop is fully equipped with lathes, tools, colours, texturing tools, band saw, pyrography machines, PPE etc, etc, etc….and it is all yours to use on the day! Come and enjoy – but if you want to turn, please bring your own timber to use…and if you have your own tools, you are welcome to bring them. There’s also the popular on-site coffee shop for lunch and refreshments…oh, and toilets, too!

I had a great day, the event was well organised and Greg is a great turner and teacher. The demonstration of an offset funnel with the bark left on was new to me so it was a great demonstration. The work shop area was very clean and tidy,

It was a very informative day, with techniques and tips by Gregory Moreton, RPT, who demonstrated his Tube Forms and Flower Vases. A very relaxed day. After the demo we were free to use the lathes etc, and also get Martin’s advice on anything we needed help with. A great day was had by everyone who attended and I personally cannot wait for the next member’s day.

The workshop was great. I was only able to attend for the demo part given by Greg, but it was really impressive, interesting and instructive. He uses some techniques and styles I hadn’t seen before and some of those techniques and styles are different to those I have seen Martin use. For us learners I think it’s a very good thing to see different ways because there’s no one perfect way.
